About the Jibb Foundation
The Jibb Foundation, based in Sydney, was established by John B. Fairfax AO and his family in 2013.
The Foundation's mission
The Jibb Foundation aims to support organisations run by exceptional people that strive to improve the equality of opportunity for others.
Areas of support
The Foundation supports projects that improve equality of opportunity in the areas of:
- Education (specifically projects focussing on disadvantage, early childhood and the use of technology)
- The Arts (including literature and journalism, the performing arts, and arts and health initiatives)
- Indigenous disadvantage (including projects looking to support children at risk, as well as place-based initiatives)
The Jibb Foundation prioritises organisations that assist young people (0 - 24 years), older people (65+ years) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Projects that are based in rural, regional and disadvantaged urban areas of NSW also receive priority.
